You Cannot Get Father’s Rights Until That Child Is Born

Frankly, you have no rights to that child until after the child is born and you’ve gone to a district court to establish your rights. And so what that means is if you had a one-night stand, and she’s pregnant, you cannot get father’s rights until that child is born.
