Don’t Waste Your Opportunity
Video Transcribed: Hi, I’m your Fathers Rights Lawyer Tulsa, here to answer some questions about fatherhood and father’s rights.
Today, I want to discuss a little bit about how long you have to establish your rights to your child. Unless another father is established as the parent or adoption occurs without your presence, you have until the child’s 18 years old to establish your rights. You may do so in a district court.
However, the risks of adoption or another parent, another father being established as the father of that child increase as you wait to establish your own rights.
Also, establishing your rights to your child provides you the opportunity to get equal rights to your child. Don’twaste your opportunity. Try to establish your rights to your child as soon as you can. If you’ve got any questions about how long you have to establish your rights to your child, give us a call.
